How can I pay and when will my balance be due?
By debit or credit card over the phone, by cheque or by bank transfer or with sterling or euro cheque. If you choose to send a cheque your holiday reservation will not be complete until the cheque has cleared. The balance of your holiday is due 10 weeks prior to departure., and you must allow an additional 4 weeks for payment by cheque.
Are there any charges for paying by card?
No, all card handling fees are included but please note as we are a Spanish company based in Spain and banking in Spain, all of our credit and debit card payments will be processed in Euros at the exchange rate on that day. We use the most fair banking rate at the time of exchange, but when converting back, your card provider may use a less favourable rate, and may even charge you a fixed fee or commission for using your card. As a result your actual payment maybe slightly higher than the advertised rate (typically around 1% of your holiday price). On the upside, free travel insurance and payment protection will often be included in this, so we advise you look into this before selecting a method of payment.
What channels does my satellite TV include?
Some villas include limited SKY TV and many others offer local Spanish satellite channels, possibly with SKY News. Due to SKY TV's changing policies we cannot guarantee reception of English satellite TV and instead now offer DVD players in most of our villas. Please do not expect to receive the same channels or quality of reception as you do at home.
Are linen and towels provided?
We provide tea towels, and bath mats as well as one hand towel and one bath towel per person. Beds are made by our cleaners prior to your arrival and all linen and towels are changed by our cleaners on a weekly basis. You cannot use the provided towels around the pool or at the beach and should bring your own beach towels for this purpose.
What sort of maid service will I receive?
The property will be cleaned prior to your arrival only, and any additional maid service you require can be paid for seperately. Please ask for details.
Can you arrange my transfer from the airport?
We recommend booking airport transfers online. For names and contact details of reliable local taxi companies, please ask.
At what time can we enter our villa on the day of arrival?
The official time for entry to your villa is at 4pm. If you arrive before then it may be possible to use certain portions of the villa or the or the pool area depending on how the cleaning staff progress. Usually this is not an issue as most villas are available from 12 to 2pm onwards and we will do our best to accommodate you early where at all possible.
What time must I depart from my villa?
We ask that you depart from your villa by 10am on the day of your departure although where you have a later flight we will do our best to extend your departure time. Our flexibility depends on the time at which incoming guests are expected as incoming guests are always given priority.
How will I receive my villa rental confirmation?
We send these to you via email within 2 hours of booking. Please let us know if you do not recieve it.
Where do I pick up villa keys?
You will normally be directed straight to the villa and will obtain the keys from a safe outside the door. For selected villas a personal arrival service is provided instead.
What do I do if I have a medical emergency or similar?
We provide our own emergency contact details as well as a guide with all of the essential local emergency services both inside the villa and on the information we send you in advance.
What are the passport and driving license requirements abroad?
All passengers must carry a valid 10 year passport with at least 6 months left before the expiry date. Standard UK driving licenses are fine. You do not have to have the new type with photo ID. Visas may be required by certain passengers who do not carry a UK passport. Please refer to the passport office for correct information.
What facilities will be at the villa?
All of our villas will contain items essential to you for your holiday. If you have any specific requests, please ask in advance to see if these facilities are available at your chosen villa.
What is the size of the pool?
Most of the pools at our private villas are approximately 8x4 meters; however some are smaller or larger. Please check at the time of booking if this is important to you.
Do the villas have safes?
Some villas do have safes please ask at the time of booking if you require this information.
When will I get my directions and other information?
These will be sent by email about 14 days prior to departure. We will provide you with instructions to get to the villa from both Valencia and Alicante airports. Each house is fitted with a key safe outside. We will provide you with the code of this box, from which you can retrieve the keys safely.
What about local information?
Each villa contains a comprehensive guidebook to enable you to get the most from your holiday. We also include contact numbers for useful services, as well as information on the villa you are staying in.
Do I need any insurance?
All clients are required to have travel insurance. If you have not yet organized this, please remember that you can purchase this through us. Will you visit me on holiday?
You have chosen a private holiday and we intend to respect your privacy. Our staff team will be available for you to contact by phone throughout your stay, and will visit only upon your request.
Can I hire any items for my baby?
Yes. If you require a cot or highchair please request it at the time of booking in order that we can ensure it is at the property on your arrival. A supplementary charge will be added to your invoice. We also have an array of exra baby items for rent. If you have any special requirements, please let us know. Please note that for hygiene reasons they are supplied without cot linen, which you should take with you.
